Hey Reader,

Zach here,

with a new exciting round of 3D news.

We have a great offer for you from our friends at BProduction, that can help to speed up your environment creation.

We also announced the winners of our last Urban Monsters challenge, and we have some news about a 3D environment creation tool becoming free to use.

Let’s get into the details.

City Scapes and Mountain Scapes 25% Off

BProduction is a group of 3D artists and developers dedicated to make your life as a 3D artist easier, by offering a wide variety of add-ons and asset bundles for Blender, especially focused on nature and environments.

Just recently, they released their new City Scapes 3D Collection with 96 ready-to-use 3D photoscanned city models, to create urban backgrounds in no time.

Together with their Mountain Scapes 3D Collection, makes this a great addition to our Environment focused courses.

Using tools like these can save you hours of time, creating your next epic environment shots.

Great news, they offer 25% off for our readers (you), on the Mountain Scapes and City Scapes Bundle.

Urban Monsters Challenge Winners

From funny, cute little creatures to scary giant beasts, the participants of our last Urban Monsters challenge let their imaginations loose and sculpted a whole Urban Bestiary for us to enjoy.

Congratulations are due to everyone (and I’m sure the sculpting fun was its own reward) but as the winners are announced they deserve the praise and glory for the best works.

Powerful 3D World Building Suite now free

VUE is a powerful 3D landscape creation software, and it has just been made available for free.

It comes along with Plant Factory (a versatile procedural plant generation tool) and a whole catalog of 3D plants you can use for your 3D environments.

Especially if you are creating outdoor scenes, VUE offers a whole range of terrain generation tools, as well as procedural clouds and other essential tools to make vast 3D landscapes.

The assets are easily exported to popular formats like FBX or USD. With that, you can then import them into Blender for rendering and scene creation.

The VUE + Plant Factory combo is a real treat for any 3D artist.

Download these tools here for free

If you want to learn how to make similar stuff in Blender, check out our 3D Environments course.

You can use the free tools and assets to enhance your workflow as you go through the course.

VUE and Plant Factory are a great companion for Blender to make stunning 3D environment scenes.

That’s all from me today,

Have fun!

P.S. We are currently looking for beta testers for our upcoming 3D characters course. Click here to learn more on how to apply.
