Hey Reader,
Zach here, with another round of useful and inspiring CG and Blender related resources.
Animate Cameras like a Pro (Blender Tutorial)
It is pretty hard to get a good and smooth camera animation in Blender. Doing it with simple keyframes is mostly not leading to satisfying results. That's why I made this new tutorial, showing a simple solution for perfect camera motion.
For people with only little time, there is also a 1-minute version of the video, you can watch here.
2021 is slowly coming to an end, so in this article, Ton Roosendaal goes over what might come to Blender in the next year (and beyond). A lot of exciting topics, but read for yourself.
The stable version of Blender 3.0 should come in December of this year still.
Sprite Fright - Open Movie Premiere
The Blender Studio’s 13th open movie "Sprite Fright" will be premiered today at 5pm CEST on YouTube.
It will be an 80’s-inspired horror comedy, set in Britain: When a group of rowdy teenagers trek into an isolated forest, they discover peaceful mushroom creatures that turn out to be an unexpected force of nature.

Hey Reader, Zach here, If you are struggling to find the motivation to learn 3D, or if you have abandoned projects and courses half way, you are most definitely not alone. In fact, I believe it is the most common struggle all artists go through. This also happened to Tetiana Markov, one of our passionate CG Boost students and challenge participants. As a personal challenge, he tried it without the use of any paid add-ons, the results of all his research he accumulated in his Master 3D Environments in Blender course. 3D scenes you learn to create in the environment course. As Martin’s challenge and his course prove - making awesome, grand scale landscapes in Blender is...
