Star Wars: X-Wing - Impressive Star Wars Fan Film
This is probably the most impressive Star Wars fan film I've ever seen, created by Noble Engine. It was 4 years in the making, and created using Blender, Houdini, Redshift and After Effects.
What impresses me even more, is that the entire short is basically a one-take-shot.
Making a Photorealistic 3D Portrait in Blender
Kent Trammell put together a condensed and nicely edited video, breaking down the creation process of a realistic human portrait in Blender.
Meaning, this is not a tutorial, but gives you a great overview about each step of the way.
