βBlender 3.3 LTS releasedβ
After Blender 2.93, the next Long Term Support (LTS) version of Blender is out, version 3.3. That means this version will be supported with bug fixes and updates for the next two years. This is especially important when working on larger projects, so one can rely on one version for a long period.
Besides that, Blender 3.3 comes also with a bunch of new features, bug fixes and updates. The biggest one is probably the new hair grooming system, that features a sculpt mode and can be used with Geometry Nodes. But there is much more.
Read all about the updates here, or get even more details here.

βImpressive Anime Sequence made in Blenderβ
This is probably the best anime scene created in Blender, that I have seen so far. I couldn't tell that this was done in 3D. It was created by TadayoshiCG and is a remade scene from the anime "Garden of Words". Pretty impressive what you can do in a 3D tool.
He also has more great Blender anime related videos on his channel, including some tutorials.

βSculpting Brushes Nobody Knows Aboutβ
In this Blender tutorial created by Noggi, you will learn about some underrated Blender sculpting brushes, that are quite powerful and can speed up your work a lot.
β
βTop 100 3D Renders from the Moving Meditations Challengeβ
Clinton Jones (pwnisher) hosted another 3D art challenge, where the participants used a simple animated 3D scene template, and then create their own animation out of it. The topic was moving meditations.
The video above shows the amazing results of the top 100 submissions. Always a pleasure to watch these compilations.

βTransforming a Phone into a Robot in Blenderβ
Polyfjord created another fun Blender tutorial, where he shows how to create and rig a phone that can transform into a robot.

Hey Reader, Zach here, Have you ever struggled with getting your 3D characterβs walking animation to look right? I know how hard it is without proper guidance. Itβs easy to get lost in all those tiny details that matter and not be able to see whatβs making it all go wrong. Iβve got something for you that can help you understand the walk cycle animation inside out. My friend Brian Kouhi (a professional animator and founder of ToAnimate) shared a full 1-hour-long lesson on making a walk cycle...
Hey Reader, Zach here, If you are struggling to find the motivation to learn 3D, or if you have abandoned projects and courses half way, you are most definitely not alone. In fact, I believe it is the most common struggle all artists go through. This also happened to Tetiana Markov, one of our passionate CG Boost students and challenge participants. We were very excited to interview her, to share her story of how she overcame all kinds of self-doubt and got her work featured on Blender Nation...
Hey Reader, Zach here, For the past 6 years, our tutor Martin Klekner has been hard at work, exploring all the possible ways to create epic 3D environments in Blender. As a personal challenge, he tried it without the use of any paid add-ons, the results of all his research he accumulated in his Master 3D Environments in Blender course. 3D scenes you learn to create in the environment course. As Martinβs challenge and his course prove - making awesome, grand scale landscapes in Blender is...
