🚀 [Resources] Anime Deadpool, Eevee Bloom in Blender 4.2 and more

Hey Reader,

Zach here,

With a fresh collection of news and resources from the 3D world.

Starting with a tutorial on how to bring back Eevee Bloom in Blender 4.2, a 3D/2D anime version of Deadpool, a new add-on that simulates real studio lighting and more.

Let’s dive in.

Remaking the Eevee Bloom Menu in Blender 4.2

In Blender 4.2 the Eevee Bloom option was moved to the Compositor, and along with it, most of its individual settings are gone.

However, Martin Klekner (our 3D environments master) has found a neat solution to recreate the old Bloom menu inside the Compositor, to achieve the same effects.

Deadpool in Anime Style

Noggi strikes again! This time, he shares some inspiring discoveries and techniques he used for his anime-styled animation of Deadpool.

Mixing 3D with 2D is a hot trend, but it introduces a lot of challenges in production. If you’re interested in achieving comic book style renders and animations in 3D, this is a must-watch, with lots of valuable tips.

Lighting your Product Renders made easy

The new Light Studio add-on released by BProduction allows for professional studio lighting of your product renders in a few clicks.

It comes with 37 customizable lights (procedural and HDRI photo-based), which help to recreate a realistic studio-like lighting setup for your virtual photoshoot sessions.

Animating a 3D digital clock with Polyfjord

Polyfjord just released another inspiring tutorial for Blender, where he takes a simple idea of a retro 7-element digital display, and turns it into satisfying mechanical 3D animations.

In the video, you will learn how to create the hexagon segments and a simple animation.

However, you won't learn how to create the two mechanical animations presented in the video. Instead, you can download the project files on his Patreon (paid) and explore.

Or you can and make your unique version of this (if you decide to go for it, make sure to share it with us).

That’s it from me for today. Have a great week and till next time!
